Rated: 2/5 Just a mini-review this time. Been doing more hobby-time programming than watching films, and trying to finish playing GTA V so I can write a review for it, but Rockstar Games is filled with a bunch of cocksuckers who try to impede anyone from finishing the game if they either don't have a … Continue reading King Kong Escapes review

Logan review
Rated: 3/5 So, Hugh Jackman is finally retiring his character and giving it one last run in one final movie. How did the film fare? Well I guess the rating above oughta give you a hint. First let me briefly mention what my thoughts are with the other X-Men films. Origins < X1 < X3 … Continue reading Logan review
Get Out review
Rated: 3/5 I heard good things about this, being a horror movie and all. And I tend to be very skeptical of horror films, because most of them suck. As it turns out, this did nothing to surprise me in that regard, because I don't think of this as a horror film. It's a suspense/thriller, … Continue reading Get Out review
Drunk review: 50 Shades of Grey
Sober Rating: 1/5 Drunk Rating: 4/5 Introduction Yes, you read the title right. Drunk review. What's a drunk review in this case? Well I down a drink or two before the movie starts, then start watching the movie, and typing my thoughts down on it in real-time (occasionally pausing the movie if I have to … Continue reading Drunk review: 50 Shades of Grey
John Wick: Chapter 2 review
Rated: 3/5 Mind is feeling a bit fried after this one. So much action, so much shooting, all at a frenetic pace that doesn't let up. That's both a pro and a con. I do believe there is such a thing as too much action in a film. And I know I'm not the only … Continue reading John Wick: Chapter 2 review
Miss Sloane and The Brave One review
Rated: 2/5 I must confess, I had a bit of a special reason for wanting to watch this particular movie. I initially learned about it not via trailer, but via Steven Crowder. But then I did eventually watch the trailer. So, plot synopsis. The film is about a woman named Miss Sloan who is very … Continue reading Miss Sloane and The Brave One review
Patriots Day review
Rated: 4/5 Decided to spend the Trump inauguration watching this film. Easier said than done apparently, since a lot of other people thought to do the same, making the film sold out for the first showing of the day. Forcing me to get tickets to the next showing, which was more expensive. Hope you readers … Continue reading Patriots Day review
American Pie and The Killing Joke; dual R-rated reviews
Been a while. I've been pre-occupied with developing a fan-made expansion for an old board game from the late 70s, and still am. I'll eventually get around to posting more on that topic when it's closer to being finished. But anyway, reviews for some films that aren't in theaters. The first review is going to … Continue reading American Pie and The Killing Joke; dual R-rated reviews
