Rated: 3/5 Intro Warning, this review gets political, makes no apologies about it, and gives no free flying fucks if you disagree with it (unless any of you dare to try having an honest discussion with me). You've been warned. The Post, a movie. Like how there was a TV series called The Office. Now … Continue reading The Post (2018) review

Jumanji (1995) and Welcome to the Jungle (2017) dual review
Jumanji is one of my favorite films from the 90s. It's not just a good kid-flick, but a good film in general. So when I heard they were making a sequel to it, all I could think was, "Why?" Then I saw the trailer, and I thought, "WHY!?!?!?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QKg5SZ_35I My second thought was, "So this … Continue reading Jumanji (1995) and Welcome to the Jungle (2017) dual review
Star Wars: The Last Jedi review
Rated: 2.5 / 5 So I know what you're thinking. Will this review contain spoilers? You bet your ass it will. I'm gonna spoil the shit out of this movie. But before I do that, there's a few things I need to get off my chest. I'll put up a spoiler warning sign when I … Continue reading Star Wars: The Last Jedi review
Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967) review
Rated: 4 / 5 "A love story of today." Well, maybe not so much anymore. Or maybe it is. This film has surprising relevancy to today, and I personally find that to be a bit sad. So, in case you haven't ever seen this movie, which I suggest you do considering I've given it a … Continue reading Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967) review
Dredd (2012) review
Rated: 4/5 Intro Hey everyone (anyone) who follows this blog. Been a small while since I've posted. Well, some house remodeling has been going on, on top of my part time job temporarily becoming a full-time job. Haven't had much free time to get a hold of a movie that is worth reviewing in length. … Continue reading Dredd (2012) review
Child Bride review
Rated: 2 / 5 Introduction and Context Title says it all doesn't it? Well maybe not, so let me explain the plot and the reasoning for the film's existence. So, keeping in mind that this was released in 1938, well into the Hay's Code timeline (which more or less started in 1930), the film starts … Continue reading Child Bride review
Brawl in Cell Block 99 review
Rated: 3.5 / 5 Skip-able Intro So you remember when I said, "my next review is going to be on a very controversial film that you’ve probably never heard of that you’ll likely only be able to see on a porn site"? Well, guess I lied. I'm putting that on hold for a review or … Continue reading Brawl in Cell Block 99 review
American Sniper review
This is an older post I made a couple years back on another site. Figured I'd bring it over here, and salvage what I could of conversations that I had in response to it. I say "salvage" because at least one of those whom I was arguing with no longer has an account on the … Continue reading American Sniper review
Ladybugs (and a bonus mini) review
90s rated: 2.5/5 2017 rated: 3.5/5 So my initial interest in this film drew from information I had gathered that this is one of Rodney Dangerfield's best films, the others being Easy Money and Back to School. But when the film got going, all of a sudden I found another reason to get into it. … Continue reading Ladybugs (and a bonus mini) review
Blade Runner 1 and 2049 dual review
Blade Runner rated: 3.5/5 Blade Runner 2049 rated: 3/5 Like the first film, this one ended up bombing at the box office, even though it's ranked at #1 for the weekend (well thank fuck not that many dumbass kids and fucking bronies are giving My Little Pony that much fucking money). Will it gain as … Continue reading Blade Runner 1 and 2049 dual review
