ADD Venting
"I'm sorry, but if you do drugs [pot], you're a degenerate." -- Jazzhands McFeels It's so frustrating. I want to be respectable sometimes. I want to be drug free. I want to work a normal job. I want to be financially stable enough to support a wife and family (assuming I can even find a … Continue reading ADD Venting
Cyberpunk 2077 (2020) review (in progress) part 1
Rated: >= 3 / 5 (assuming it gets properly patched) Wokeness: >= 3 / 5 Let me just state up front that I have never played any game on release day ever in my entire life. This is a first for me. And I knew this was going to be a bad idea, because 90% … Continue reading Cyberpunk 2077 (2020) review (in progress) part 1
A few quotes from Robin Hood and Ivanhoe
I've taken to reading some classics as of late. I'm slow about it, especially with getting through The Adventures of Robin Hood (Puffin Classics version written by Roger Lancelyn Green), as that stuff gets rather monotonous, with Robin Hood and his merry men always getting involved in shenanigans with Prince John, Guy, and the Sheriff, … Continue reading A few quotes from Robin Hood and Ivanhoe
At Play in the Fields of the Lord (1991) review
Rated: 4 / 5 Wokeness: 1 / 5 The Parable of Weeds among the Wheat24 He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to someone who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while everybody was asleep, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and then went away. 26 So when the … Continue reading At Play in the Fields of the Lord (1991) review
Mass Effect 2 (2010) review
Rated: 2.5 / 5 Wokeness: 3 / 5 Review Well, I guess this review has been 3 years coming. The replay of this game was more of a struggle than I expected. Not because the game is more difficult than I remember, but because it's not as interesting as I remember. While it improves on … Continue reading Mass Effect 2 (2010) review
Entertainment Industry Nostalgia: November 1991
Three faculty, and one staff member of the department of physics and astronomy, were killed, along with one administrator, when physics graduate student Gang Lu went on a shooting rampage at the University of Iowa after being denied the Physics award (they actually made a historically inaccurate film about this titled Dark Matter in 2007). … Continue reading Entertainment Industry Nostalgia: November 1991
Beyond the Edge (2018) review
In this day and age, amidst all the remakes and reboots, I have to admit, I never thought the idea would even occur to have a sequel made to the 1997 thriller film The Edge, like how they made sequels to Deep Blue Sea, and Lake Placid. I mean, what was the plan for the … Continue reading Beyond the Edge (2018) review
Elex (2017) review
https://www.gamesload.com/images/products/THQNordic/Elex_bg.jpg Rated: 4 / 5 Wokeness: 2 / 5 * Just got done doing a 50 hour spree playing a little hidden gem of an RPG called Elex, made by Piranha Bytes (guys who did the Gothic trilogy, of which only the first 2 games are good). Set in a partial sci-fi (via the Clerics … Continue reading Elex (2017) review
Highlander II: The Bullshitening (1991) review
Rated: HAHAHAH! This is a film I avoided in the past because of its reputation for how bad it was. How much it disgraced the legacy and lore of Highlander. About as badly as Disney disgraced the legacy and lore of Star Wars. About as badly as Universal Pictures and MGM and Lashana Lynch will … Continue reading Highlander II: The Bullshitening (1991) review
